Prevention and check-ups
Prevention without a referral, directly bookable.
aprioris is built for acute, everyday complaints. What is included is set out here; so is what is not.
Treatment of acute complaints
A sore throat, bladder symptoms, a tick bite, a red eye, an insect sting, a fever, diarrhoea: the nurse examines you, places the findings in context and discusses what happens next. What falls within scope in an individual case is decided by the physician team: it defines the conditions and the limits, and is brought into the consultation directly wherever a picture is unusual or not yet standardised.
Investigations on site
Where they improve the assessment, simple investigations are part of the consultation. What makes sense in an individual case follows from the findings and from the medical parameters; what matters is not the number of tests but the question they answer.
Wound care
We clean and dress superficial wounds, check tetanus cover and plan the follow-up. Deep, heavily bleeding or infected wounds belong in surgical hands; those cases we refer on, according to urgency and with a report.
Vaccination and travel advice
Vaccination, checking your vaccination status and travel advice are planned appointments. Please bring your vaccination record. Prices are on the vaccination and travel advice page.
Services covered by mandatory health insurance are billed accordingly. Your deductible and co-payment apply, as in any medical practice. Preventive services are billed privately; prices are shown with each service.
- aprioris does not dispense medication itself.
- no treatment under the age of 16
- no taking over of ongoing, complex treatment
- no imaging; where it is needed, we refer
Where to find aprioris
Every practice is an aprioris practice. Some sit inside a pharmacy, some at a practice partner, some in our own rooms. Partners provide the place; medical responsibility rests in every case with aprioris and always with a physician. For you that means short distances: where there is a pharmacy in the building, the route to your medication is next door.
