Overview

Burning on passing urine and a frequent urge to go.

Burning on passing urine, a frequent urge and pressure in the lower abdomen often point to an uncomplicated bladder infection. It is considerably more common in women. What matters is telling it apart from courses that need a different route.

What happens

What happens at aprioris

Our aim: to resolve your concern directly on site. Assessment, treatment and, where needed, a prescription or certificate. If specialist care is needed, we refer you on.

We listen to your concern, test your urine and put the findings in context. Then we discuss what happens next. Signs of kidney involvement, a pregnancy or recurring infections need a different route; we tell you that and refer you on with a report.

Every case is reviewed and signed off by a physician, either during your visit or shortly after. Anything that needs specialist care, we refer on, prioritised by urgency and with a written report. aprioris does not dispense medication itself.
