For registered nurses
You lead the consultation from the greeting to the written record: history, examination to a clear method, findings, conversation and documentation. You work with an extended scope of practice and under physician oversight, with clear parameters and a physician team that is reachable during opening hours. Regular further training is part of the role.
- registered nurse with a Swiss diploma at tertiary level, with professional experience
- an appetite for broad, acute primary care rather than a single speciality
- care and precision in documentation
- fluent written and spoken German
For physicians
In the physician team you take on clinical supervision in the telephone background service, the consultation whenever a finding departs from the pattern, and the prompt sign-off of consultation reports. Passing on knowledge to the nursing team belongs to the role as well, through direct feedback and through the internal training programme. The work is mostly done from home, with occasional presence at the locations and at head office.
- Swiss medical degree or a recognised foreign degree, MEBEKO
- board certification in general internal medicine, FMH
- at least three years of practical experience in general internal medicine with your own clinical responsibility, ideally in a GP practice
- experience in the clinical guidance of non-physician staff
- a good understanding of the Swiss health system and the local practice landscape
